AnnouncementsYou are here: Home > Announcements > New Site Builder
Due to the problems described in the previous announcement, we have installed a brand new site builder at http://www.siteworkbench.com, to replace the old versions of Site Workbench. Users of the old Site Workbench, please see instructions at the bottom of this announcement regarding editing your existing pages. Anyone can begin building a site immediately, without having to log in. Simply follow the steps at site workbench. If you do not complete a site in one session, when you return to Site Workbench you can resume work on the same site. However, tracking of your session is done with a cookie, so you must return from the same computer and web browser. Alternately, if you visit the Publish step, a link to your site will be displayed and can be bookmarked, so that you'll be sure to be able to return to your work. Once you have a site that is ready to publish, you'll need to let us know so we can establsh an account for you. The publish page will list your site ID. You'll need to open a support ticket and provide us with your site ID, as well as the website to which you want to publish your work. We'll set up an account and provide login information so that you can then log in and publish. The old site builders will not be re-established, so those wanting to use our online tools for creating a site will need to use this new product. You should find that it is far more robust than anything we've provided previously. We do not at this time have any specifically Church or Christian templates in the new site builder. We will have some developed and available as soon as possible. There are many generic templates that will be usable for a church site, just nothing specific to Churches just yet. Users of the old site builder can edit their existing pages with the html editor in the site control panel's file manager. Just be sure to make a copy of any page before editing it, so you have a backup. Steps to use the html editor in the control panel:
