Changes to card charge, suspension and termination schedules
Effective January 1st, 2010, the following changes will be made:
1. Card charges - if you pay by credit card, we will begin charging invoices 1 day prior to the due date. There are two reasons for this: 1) so we can make sure domain renewal invoices are charged before domain expiration, and 2) so that we can notify you if the charge fails, so that you have a day to take corrective action and make payment by the due date.
2. Suspension - we are shortening the service suspension timeframe from 14 days to 7. 7 days is plenty of time after the invoice due date to get an invoice paid.
3. Termination - we are shortneing the service termination timeframe from 21 days to 14. This still gives you a full week after suspension to make payment, so really no charge here - it's just following the change to the suspension schedule.
