After transferring a domain to us for hosting, or if you wish to point your domain name to another hosting company, you must change the dns servers associated with your domain name.
To change the dns server for a domain name registered with us, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account at here.
2. Click the "Manage Your Domain Names" link under "Account Manager" on the left side of the page.
3. Click the "View Details" button to the right of the domain for which you wish to view or change contact information.
4. On the domain details page, you'll see the dns servers listed. Edit them as necessary, and click the "Save Changes" button.
If you receive the error message "Domain Status does not allow this operation", you need to uncheck the "Registrar lock" checkbox below the nameserver fields, save changes, and then change the nameservers. Relock the domain afterwards to prevent unauthorized transfer.
Once you've changed your domain name's dns servers, it will take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for the change to completely propagate.
