How do I determine how much storage I have available for media files?
|
If you are using our on-demand streaming service, (not streaming media files from a website over http), and you are wondering how much storage you have available, the FTP server will send a line of data to your when you first connect. It will look similar to this, and be found in the ftp command log: 226-Disk Quota - Current : 15581 Mbytes - Max : 20480 Mbytes - Available : 4899 Mbytes Depending on the server, the format of the line may be different, but in all cases, you'll be able to see how much total storage is assigned, how much you've used, and how much is available.
